What is a bequest?

  • Residuary bequest: leaving what remains after debts and expenses are settled

Wills Week 2025
From 15 to 19 September 2025, South Africa will mark National Wills Week. It is an annual initiative that encourages every adult to have a valid will in place. During this week, many attorneys offer free basic will drafting.
