My Legacy
Leave a lasting legacy that can help
the homeless beyond your lifetime
National Wills Week, a Law Society of South Africa initiative, takes place mid-September each year and is great opportunity for you to review your Will, and consider the legacy you would like to leave for your loved ones and community. During this dedicated week, participating attorneys offer to draw up a basic Will for free, giving generously of their expertise and time, to help South Africans
properly prepare for the future.

Percentage bequest

Residuary bequest
The residue of an estate is everything that is left after estate debts have been paid, in other words the nett value of your estate, and you can elect to leave your whole residue to a specific beneficiary, such as U-turn. The balance of an estate after the will has distributed each of the specific bequests
