2020 has been a difficult year for many. Over 3 million people lost their jobs in South Africa due to COVID, which means more people are homeless and stranded on our streets. More people are accessing U-turn’s services, and we have had to turn people away from our sheltered employment programme because there is not enough capacity in Cape Town.

The good news is that together we can turn this around. Let’s remember 2020 as the year of great challenge and the year we made a difference!

Your act of kindness will help provide someone with sheltered employment, work experience, formal skills training and help grow their resilience to life’s challenges.

Studies show that the longer a person remains on the street, the more likely they are to become chronically homelessness. This is your last opportunity to make a difference to the year 2020!

By taking action with a contribution, you will join hundreds of Capetonians building a better future for our City in the aftermath of COVID. It’s the difference between a life wasted and a life of productive employment.
