The individual loses their health, comfort and protection. In time it robs them of their hope that things can change. It locks them in & keeps them there until quite literally, it becomes their death bed.
All of society loses: every time we leave a person do die on the street, we become less human ourselves. No-one should die on the street!

U-turn’s 20-year old program gives homeless people the skills to overcome homelessness. It allows graduates to get a bed of their own. Supporting the Benches to Beds program allows U-turn to bring their solution to more cities across the world: More rehab centres, more skills training programmes, and more work opportunities at social enterprises operated by U-turn.
